Pub to Hub in Barton Hill

CW Duke are exceptionally pleased to have been appointed by the Wellspring Settlement to transform the former public house, The Swan in Barton Hill to a thriving community hub.

Wellspring Settlement and Barefoot Architects have worked tirelessly to understand and qualify the needs of the all local residents and how the this building can be redesigned to support all generations through advice, services and social wellbeing.



"Upon joining the CW Duke team last year, a key driver was to identify, tender or support more local projects that make a real impact on the welfare and wellbeing within the communities they serve.
Whilst this is just one example, a meticulous budgetary effort was needed, and achieved, to greenlight this great project and ensure it maximised value to the Charity without reducing the vision of the building and its future role within the community.
